Grain Integrative Health Comes to Port of Cascade Locks' Herman Creek Business Complex
Dec 26, 2020 12:00AM ● By Bridge Of The GodsGrain in the Gorge, a second location of Grain Integrative Health from Portland, OR, will be arriving in Cascade Locks in January 2021. The clinic will provide the same high-quality primary care they have provided for over a decade in southeast Portland to Cascade Locks and the surrounding communities. This clinic prides itself on offering preventative and chronic health management to ages 0-100+, alongside a capacity for acute care. They accept most major medical insurance and Medicaid.
Founders Lindsay Baum and Sara Kates-Chinoy met in Portland while studying to be naturopathic doctors. The two bonded over shared views about patient access to healthcare and the efficacy of naturopathic medicine. Their Portland clinic offers comprehensive prenatal to hospice care and serves over 10,000 patients, many on Medicaid.
Voted in Portland Monthly as top doctors for 2021, the clinic is dedicated to accessibility and individualized healthcare. Grain will bring an established medical system that is well networked and patient-centered. Their focus on preventing disease has helped thousands of Portlanders reach their individual healthcare goals. In this model, patients can expect to spend more time with their provider during visits and develop long term relationships. Grain hopes to build a similar relationship with the Cascade Locks community and other residents of the Gorge.
The clinic will open in the Port of Cascade Locks' Herman Creek Business Complex, near the Renewal Project facility, in a newly remodeled building.
Please come visit with Grain in the Gorge and say hello! The clinic will offer telemedicine and in-person care 4-5 days a week.
